  ConnectedWorld.TV Awards
SatStream’s signature solution, EventStream, has been shortlisted for the ConnectedWorld.TV awards in the Production Tool Award.

EventStream is a bespoke service designed for broadcasting live events (typically acquired from satellite feeds) over the Internet. EventStream is modular, offering complete flexibility. It incorporates production features, such as VOD production, adding pre-recorded material to form a playlist, adding multiple language commentary to sporting events for global appeal. High quality live events are streamed globally using multiple Content Delivery Networks and options for post-production, editing and archiving are also available.

Making live events available over the Internet gives the broadcaster greater marketing potential and provides rights holders with extra revenue streams, as pay-per-view and advertising models can be supported.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Hotel Okura Amsterdam on Monday 12 September, the penultimate night of IBC2011.
